My corgi's new bed - 06-01-2007, 08:07 AM

I bought a tempurpedic pillow a few months ago and my dog absolutely loves it. (Yes, I bought it for me). Every time I come home from work, she'll be sleeping on it! I don't mind, since I really don't like the pillow, but her expression is priceless! She looks like she's in heaven or something. Since she loves the pillow so much, I gave it to her. It's her new bed!

That picture is certainly worth a thousand words. She looks so comfortable. Duchess was never interested in dog beds, blankets or cushions. A lump on her elbow caused her to go to the vet last week. I thought it was an inbedded tick. The vet said to keep and eye on it but is almost positive it is a callous.
I will keep trying to get Duchess to use a pad for sleeping. As she gets older she may need the cushioning.

Our of the biggest wastage of money can be made in buying pillows. My wife has a RSI neck complaint and has had to buy several pillows over time because the stores won't take a pillow back even after one night of trialling.
So Berrysale is puting her surplus pillow to good use.
I might present Taylor with a pillow too. His bed is a real nice medium size dog mattress with a sheep skin and wool rug covering it. It is up against my two drawer side board next to my bed and he often leans part of his body against the side board.

Hello

Beautiful pic of your corgi. Chip & Dale like to sleep on a pillow also. May I ask which state you got your dog from? Just curious

My corgi won't sleep in her bed anymore ever since I bought that pillow. hehe(Chip's Mom) My husband got Wasabi for me as a birthday present in Massachusetts. That's where we used to live before we moved to California.

Thanks for the reply. Her face reminds me of my Chip & Dale so I thought maybe they were related.

(stumpy) I so know what you're talking about! Wasabi also loves the FOM!
She'll cuddle with that and sleep on the tempurpedic pillow...lol
