Corgi puppies at the doggie show

We decided to bring cody and cupcake to a local dog show before handing them over to their new owners - just for fun hehe, we never joined a dog show before.

The morning of the show it was time to prep the corgis! time to wake them up !


Before going to the show we gave the dogs a good bath, we tried to groom them a little by removing their whiskers and cleaning them up well.. no hair clipping or anything, it was just a baby puppy entry anyway


It was a hoot day here in manila, we let the pups stay in the car (with the a/c of course!) for an hour or so and then brought them out to the show area, it was very humid, good thing we brought much needed supplies!(an electric fan, ICE , some more ICE a little more ICE and also water)


Here we have cupcake and cody practicing the walk... it was more of a tug of war actually with the handlers... playing with the leash and all

Both pups won an award!!! against each other that is... (hehehe) no other corgis in the show.... We didn't stay and wait for the best in show part ... the puppies (and owners) were very tired already... time to go home...

I know I am biased but corgi puppies make the cutest puppies!

It was fun and tiring.. but definitely worth it! We wanted to show daphne (the mother of the pups) that's why we tried showing the pups first - to know if we can handle shows and events.

Yes, here in the Philippines.. and it's summertime here now. Sooo hoooot really haha

I know! They are cute and adorable. A lot of people took notice of them also.. cause corgis are rare here. The swedish judge just loove cody. And many people like cupcake because she is so playful. I almost don't want to give them to their new owners.. haha

They are Adorable! That's why I could never breed them ... I'd never trust any one else to raise them right. I'd have a house full of them!
