I requested Michael to send me the story, and it is a lovely short "tail". I immediately sent it on to two people who will read it with tears in their eyes.
I urge you all to get a copy it is very sweet.

Jane Austen - you not only have a famous name, but you're lovely too.
So glad the story struck a chord with you.

Michael, it sounds like a touching story, is it one that you can post here for all of GoCorgi to read?

Barbara - I don't want to be piling Go Corgi with too much non-Corgi material.

It was a very nice story. The strength our dogs bring to us is amazing. They always know!

Michael,

If it is just one, short story, why not post it - it is a Corgi forum, yes, but your story is about Dogs, right?

Tut.tut Linda. It might seem a little frustrating to you but I have a lot of material on dogs that could be posted but I prefer to send to members privately on request and I have done so already with several previous items/articles.

Michael,

It is not frustrating to me, I just thought, like Barbara mentioned, that maybe you could post this one short story.
