Treasured gift - 07-23-2006, 04:31 AM

I could have left this piece for a suitable response to a thread or a post but I am too impatient!

Corgis are to be loved.
A treasured gift from the heaven above.
They give us comfort in times of stress
So why on earth should they be given any less?
No Corgi should ever be abused or neglected
Or ever feel hurt, unloved or rejected.

What a beautiful sentiment, Michael! Seems like that should be the official poem for Corgi Aid! Our precious, faithful pets are truly gifts - and don't we wish that every puppy (Corgi or not) could find homes where they would be loved and honored?...

Michael:

That is wonderful! I agree that should be our official poem. It fits our Corgis and website perfectly. Thank you for sharing it and not waiting

I agree - a beautiful poem. You should post it on our home page somewhere!

The poem is now immortalised on the home page of Go Corgi.

Tell me if you like the title: Corgis Deserve No Less - or prefer Treasured Gift or something else.

Michael, Some time ago you asked me for criticism. I tried to send you something about the poem by your email address, it was sent back to me. I don't dare post my suggestion here because I know there would be a big outcry. Not that I don't like it, but there is one word I think could be left out.

Hi Jane
My computer seems to be working fine. I got your other email and I trust you received the article on dreaming. Recheck my email: mjromanos@hotmail.com

Anyway, I now have unlimited use of the Go Corgi private messaging service, so you can contact me through that if you wish.

Can anyone guess what word Jane is unhappy about?
