Not joking about dishwashers, max does a great prewash - saves on a cycle & water usage

In regards to having dogs do the "prewash" on our dishes, my elderly mother would be horrified don't know why, we really do wash them afterwards, right?

Most of my lady friends are horrified, but to me it makes perfectly good sense

Regarding the "doggie pre-wash cycle", see my photo of Chloe "helping out" in the Members Gallery!! " Chloe being naughty - but cute!" Obviously, it doesn't bother me much!

Just checked that cute picture again; that would surely put my mother in
cardiac arrest Great to have someone get that sticky food off the plates before they are washed.

I call Lexy and Autumn (our cat), the swifer picker uppers since they tend to find all the crumbs on the floor

The vacuum is for the pet hair (so we can find the furniture at a lower level), not for the crumbs. My older corgi's mission is to lick up the spillage on the cement (patio section) from coffee, etc. at Starbucks. No sticky floors outside at that cafe.

Saw the Dyson Animal vaccuum today. Was $499.99 at Kohl's. Does it come in any color but that ugly purple?

Nope, I think the "Animal" one only comes in the ugly purple. I would have rather had gray or a neutral color. I am not sure why they are doing those colors; however, I don't leave it sitting out so it doesn't need to go with my decor

There are other models with different features, so best to read up on them and make the best choice in what would work best for you.

Best Buy may have a better selection than Kohls, or go directly to the web site www.dyson.com to read about them. Go to products above and then Click on the DC07 when the picture pops up.It is for carpet and adjusts for floors also.

We broke down and bought the Dyson animal dc14 today at Target. We were considering it after all the great reviews you all gave it. Then we saw that Target was offering $100 gift cards with the purchase of any Dyson vaccum. How sweet is that! So if you don't have one yet get down to your local Target and pick one up before supplies run out! No rain checks!!!

I will have to check your Dyson Animal DC14 on line, I have the DC07 Animal

Okay, just checked - you got the low reach floor tool with yours, that should be nice, mine didn't come with that. I would have loved that for under the beds, rather than moving them. Let us know how you like it; maybe you(Jim) will take over vacuuming altogether.

Just one word - WOW!!!! It was amazing how much dirt and hair we got up! We had to empty it out four times before we finished the whole house. I loved it so much I want to do it again! I think we might actually fight over who gets to vacuum. Definately worth the money!
