Ok, is this a corgi person vacuume? LOL I,too, got the Dyson animal last christmas, and have found it to be the most effective vacuume cleaner i have ever owned. the big difference in the yellow and the purple, is the purple is the "animal" and comes with the extra attachments and the stain remover stuff. The yellow one is not quite the same and has none of the same special animal hair removing attachments. I have three cats -two long hair and one short hair, and one corgi, and this spring when everyone was blowing coat, i would have one full canister of hair from my living room rug ONLY!!!! granted, that is Dillon's favorite room to hang out in, but YIKES!

So maybe we should call dyson people and tell them they should call it the Dyson corgi rather than the Dyson animal! LOL!!! I tell everyone who will listen about how great this vacuume is - i think it was well worth the money, my hope is it lasts! So far so good...

At this point I think they could run clips from these forums as advertising LOL... we should get paid for how much we promote for them! I know what you mean though... I never realized before how much hair we had in our carpets that was getting missed. I vacuum almost every day now... and I don't even mind because it isn't hard with the Dyson to just take it out and empty it. I can sure tell if I miss a day now...

As Linda said... vacumming isn't nearly as bad when you know it's actually picking up stuff!

I have a photo of that - it is actually a photo of suki hair( my maine coon cat) and Dillon ( who is 28+ lb corgi) looking mighty disgusted next to this huge pile of hair! I put a standard size tennis ball next to the pile to show how big the pile is. I am attaching it here so you can all see this! She was blowing her coat, so i used a shedding blade and then her brush... enjoy!LOL!!! ( keep in mind this could have been all in my rugs within a week or two!) I also included a photo of suki after this brushing, so you can see she is still a hairy girl! I hope the photos work!

Is it just my imagination, or does Dillon have a totally disgusted look on his face?

I think Dillon's "look" is what you would get from the Queen if she were looking at all that hair

Get out the Dyson

Your responses to the look on dillon's face with all that cat hair had me lauging so hard- first, Yes, that is Dillon's most disgusted look ever! I have no other photos of him with that particular look on his face. I asked him to lay down there to take the photo ( initially i took the photo for a friend who has this funny thing about pet hair- she has two large dogs and a cat but vacuumes constantly, so i took this photo to send to her and freak her out! lol- oh and it did!) The look on his face makes me laugh every time...This cat sheds almost as much as dillon, remember she is a large girl (nearly 15lbs) and a hairy one! GOD BLESS the dyson animal vacuum cleaner, my rugs would be full of hair and my wood floors would have tumble weeds constantly blowing around!

Emilie:

The look on Dillon's face is priceless!

I have a Dyson purple also. I am truly embarassed every time I vaccume! It amazes me how much dust, dirt, hair, etc I empty out of the canister.

To this day I can't believe I paid that much for a vaccuum (even bought it at Overstock.com!) but I do love it.
