Hi T Gal
Congrats on the new baby.
Her ears should be erect by three months. What about her brothers and sisters and parents?
Slight changes in coloration will probably occur.
Belle is a popular name for a female dog.

T-Gal,
Personally I think that is the best thing you can do is to get your daughter involved in dog training. What an opportunity to develop along with Cloe.

Hi TGal
Pleased to know that Chloe's ears are both up and ready to hear the slightest of sounds and that she is progressing really well and settled in.

What an ungodly time of the morning you and your Corgis are up and about. Must be some important job you have taken on - either that or far away from where you live.

I believe in the edict that you don't get a dog for the kids but you can get a dog that the family can share under the control and supervision of the adults ie parents. Same for your 10 year old daughter. If she is mature past her years then it would be a bonus to let her handle Chloe at puppy training but you keep a watchful eye at the training sessions so that your daughter does not overstep the mark or underperform to the detriment of Chloe.

I wish my now 15 year old daughter took an active interest in Taylor's agility. He only started just on a year ago and a 14-15 year old handler is a good age to begin in the sport.
